💡(EU) How to Sync Your Shopify Products with TikTok Shop Using SPL

Important: To connect the store in the EU, adding a Manufacturer (EU) and a Responsible Person (RP) is mandatory, depending on the product category. Failure to provide these details may result in product listing errors or rejection on TikTok Shop.

Open the App in Shopify Admin Panel

1. Log in to your Shopify Admin Panel.

2. Navigate to Apps and open TikTok Shop Connector by SPL.

3. In the TikTok Shop Connector, click on the Products section.

4. Navigate to Shopify Products to view all available products from your Shopify store.

   

View Your Shopify Products

• Here, you will see a list of all products from your Shopify store.

• You can choose to sync products individually or in bulk.

  

Syncing Individual Products

1. Locate the product you want to sync.

2. Click on the Sync button next to the product.

   

Select the appropriate Category and Attributes before proceeding.

Important: Certain product categories require specific attributes and certifications. Missing information may cause synchronization errors.

Handling Certificate Requirements

Some products require safety certifications or packaging warnings for compliance.

1. If prompted with “Ci sono avvertenze o informazioni di sicurezza sulla confezione del prodotto?” (Are there warnings or safety information on the product packaging?), select:

   • Yes – If the product contains warnings or safety details.

   • No – If no safety information is required.

2. If Yes, enter the necessary details or upload the relevant certification.

Adding a Manufacturer (EU) in TikTok Shop Connector by SPL

Introduction

To comply with TikTok Shop EU regulations, products must have manufacturer details added. Missing information may lead to listing errors.

Two ways to Add a Manufacturer:

Method 1: Adding a Manufacturer While Syncing a Product

1. Locate the product you want to sync.

2. Click on the Sync button next to the product.

3. Scroll down to locate Add Manufacturer

   
4. Enter the required manufacturer details:

   • Manufacturer’s Name

   • Email Address

   • Registered Trade Name

   • Country Code

   • Phone Number

   • Complete Address

5. Click Submit to save the manufacturer details.

Method 2: Adding a Manufacturer via Settings

1. Open the TikTok Shop Connector by SPL in Shopify.

2. Navigate to Settings > EU GPSR.

   
3. Click on "Add Manufacturer".

   
4. Enter the required manufacturer details:

   • Manufacturer’s Name

   • Email Address

   • Registered Trade Name

   • Country Code

   • Phone Number

   • Complete Address

5. Click Submit to save the manufacturer details.

   

Adding a Responsible Person (EU) in TikTok Shop Connector by SPL

Introduction

TikTok Shop requires businesses selling in the EU to provide a Responsible Person (RP) to ensure product compliance and safety. Missing or incorrect details may lead to listing errors.

Two Ways to Add a Responsible Person (EU)

Method 1: Adding a Responsible Person While Syncing a Product

• Open the TikTok Shop Connector by SPL.

• Locate the product you want to sync.

• Click on the Sync button next to the product.

• Scroll down to locate "Add Responsible Person".

  

1. Enter the required information:

   • Full Name

   • Email Address

   • Trade Name

   • Country

   • Complete Address

     
2. Click Submit to save the details.

The product will be processed and soon appear live on TikTok Shop.

Method 2: Adding a Responsible Person via Settings

1. Open the TikTok Shop Connector by SPL in Shopify.

2. Navigate to Settings > EU GPSR.

   
3. Click on "Add Responsible Person".

   
4. Enter the required details.

   
5. Click Submit to save the Responsible Person details.

   

If you encounter any issues, click the Fix Me button.

This will open the Power Editor, where you can follow easy instructions to resolve the issue.

Bulk Syncing Products

1. Select multiple products from the list.

   
2. Assign the correct category before syncing (this is crucial for successful bulk syncing).

   
3. Enhance product visibility by adding relevant attributes to improve ranking in TikTok's algorithm.

   
4. upload Certificate Requirements

   
5. Click on Create Products on TikTok

   
6. Your products will now be live on TikTok Shop.

   

Adding TikTok Shop Products to Shopify

1. Go to the TikTok Products section.

   
2. Click on AI Connect .

   
3. Your TikTok Shop products will now be available in your Shopify store.
